Jain Community Setting up Chain of Startup Incubation Centers, First One Opened in Mumbai
Mumbai:With a vision to support entrepreneurship and promote startup ecosystem in the country, the Jain community plans to set up a number incubation centres across all major metros with the first one coming up at Andheri, the heart of financial hub of Mumbai.
There will be thorough guidance and handholding to the occupants of these centres and the Jain community has readied a robust plan to ably support and promote entrepreneurship.
“We have a vision to shape up the future of the country and supporting entrepreneurship and startups is a major step towards that goal. We are setting up this first incubation centre in Andheri, Mumbai and the other metros would be covered soon,” said Mr Narendra Shyamsukha, Chairman JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation and Founder Chairman, ICA Edu Skills.
This facility will be called ‘Cello JITO Incubation Centre!’ and will work as a not-for-profit facility. This centre will belong to JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF), wholly owned subsidiary of Jain International Trade Organization (JITO). The building for the centre has been given rent-free by the Cello Group.
“This facility will help all the budding entrepreneurs in the city and will offer the best of services to the occupants. It is conveniently located and has all the modern facilities that start-ups require,” said Mr Pradeep G Rathod of Cello Group.
This centre, spread over 8500 sq ft, will have a capacity of 100+ seats and will offer shared support services like HR, legal, IT and accounts and will provide funding and ready market for implementation as per eligibility. It is located at Business Square at Solitaire Park, Chakala, Andheri East.
Other industrialists and eminent personalities who attended the inaugural ceremony included Mr Motilal Oswal, Chairman-JITO and Motilal Oswal Group , Mr Shantilal Kawar of Viyalaxmi Group and President JITO Apex Board, Mr Satish Parakh of Ashoka Bullion Pvt Ltd and Secretary General JITO Apex Board, Mr Anil Jain, Director in Charge, Refex Group.

JITO is the single largest organization of prominent businessmen, industrialists and professionals not only in India but abroad also. 10 administrative zones, 61 chapters, and 37 units, at present, signify its wide reach across India. The swelling membership of the organization is nearing 6,000 now.
