Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, the mentor Director and Director of IIM Kozhikode said, ‘It gives me immense satisfaction and happiness that the students of IIM Amritsar under the mentorship of IIM Kozhikode performed very well in their education and achieved well deserved placements proving once again that IIM Amritsar stands differently among the newer generation IIMs. I congratulate the graduating students and wish them best with their career”.
Prof. Arun Kaushik, Chairperson, Placement, IIM Amritsar said, “Like previous year, we had a large batch size of close to 100 once again this year, which resulted in addition of new quality recruiters to our existing placement contacts. We have consistently achieved 100% placements because of the trust we have gained and maintained over the last three years in terms of providing quality talent pool to our recruiters.”
Under the mentorship of IIM Kozhikode, a leading B-school of India, IIM Amritsar has emerged as the largest, in terms of batch size, among the third generation IIMs. This has paid off for the institute in several ways: the large batch size has provided opportunity of having diversity and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom, has attracted quality recruiters and has also increased the alumni presence in the industry at a fast pace.
For its sustained growth, IIM Amritsar thanks all its stakeholders including recruiters who have reposed their faith in the Institute and have helped the institute achieve growth year on year. A detailed report of the placements will be made available, later, on the Institute website.
