10th Guntur International Poetry Festival kicks off in Guntur

Report by Gayatri Mavuru; Guntur: 10th Guntur International Poetry Festival kicks off at JKC College here. The Festival was inaugurated by Mr. Sudarshan Kecherry M.D of Authorspress, New Delhi and Festival organisers P. Gopichand and P. Nagasuseela.


Poetic fragrance spread in Guntur as several poets across the world will recite verses filled with lyric beauty. Festival organisers P. Gopichand and P. Nagasuseela said that around 1000 poets from across the world have compiled 2000 poems for the festival. The Festival will continue for two days.

On this occasion the organiser felicitated Mr. Sudarshan Kecherry M.D of Authorspress.  Since 2008, P. Gopichand & P. Nagasuseela, (Professors with J K C College, Guntur-522006, Andhra Pradesh, India) have been organizing International Poetry Fests. All these nine years, they have been striving hard in propelling peace, harmony and excellence in the field of art, education and literature. Poets, critics and writers from various parts of the world have been continuously extending their support and participation in this great effort to spread peace through poetry.
