2nd Edition of IC3 Awards Honor Top School Counselors and Educators

 

New Delhi: The International Career and College Counseling (IC3) Conference concluded with the highly anticipated IC3 Awards, India’s only ever career and college counseling awards aimed at felicitating school counselors and university representatives for their outstanding contributions to the field of career counseling.

Held at Taj Palace, New Delhi, the IC3 Awards were a spectacular display of talent from across the world. Over 207 nominations were received from the education fraternity across India and Overseas. Only full-time school-based career and college counselors and full-time admissions professionals at universities qualified for the nomination. The nominations were assessed on expertise and achievements by a six-member jury comprising of IC3 Committee members and other experts from the education field.

The awards were presented by Mr. Sachin Jain, President, Bennett University

Here are the winners for IC3 Awards 2018

1. Award Category A: Career and College Counselors

Emerging Counselor Award: Hemalatha Yuvaraj, Oakridge International School, Bangalore
Counselor of the Year Award: Pragati Pandey, The Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad
Molly Abraham Lifetime Achievement Award: Bridget Herrera, American International School of Dhaka
2. Award Category B: Admissions Professionals at Universities

Counseling-based Approach to Student Recruitment/Admissions: Bela Brahmbhatt, Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia

The winners have consistently applied their expertise and proficiency in establishing successful career counseling practices, driven knowledge sharing through collaborative efforts and have mastered the dynamic world of careers.

Additionally, The IC3 Awards honored the following counselors in recognition and appreciation of their remarkable commitment to the students of Nepal in relation to the revoking of the full scholarship.

Following the success of the 2018 Annual IC3 Conference, in an effort to take this movement to another city, IC3 will host its 2019 edition in Mumbai from 28-29 August 2019.
