Applications have been invited by Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi for admission to BSc Nursing and BPharm (Ayurveda) for the Academic Year 2012 in the College of Nursing at Institute of Medical Sciences, B.H.U., Varanasi & The Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkacha, Mirzapur Dist., respectively.

ELIGIBILITY:
Intermediate 10+2 OR equivalent from the recognized board/university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English with minimum 50% aggregate marks (PCBE) for General/OBC category and 40% for SC/ST category.
The age of the candidates should be between 17 to 25 years for all categories as on 31-07-2012.

(b) By hand from the Office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi by paying Rs. 50/- in Cash – from 14-1-2012 to 22-03-2012.
(c) By Post: From the Office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005 by sending a written request through Registered Post along with Crossed Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque (MICR only) of Rs. 100/- of a Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of "The Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU” payable at Varanasi.

Application form duly completed must be sent through Registered Post so as to reach THE DIRECTOR, INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY, VARANASI-221 005 latest by 28-3-2012. A Demand Draft Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 600/- for SC/ST Category in favour of the Director, IMS, BHU payable at Varanasi has to be attached with the completed form.

Commencement of Entrance test: 03-06-2012 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon at Varanasi
