New Delhi: Today, CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, in its efforts to generate awareness on the need and importance of environmental protection and promote Green practices in the young minds, organised a Drawing Competition for school children in and around Hyderabad.
Students were asked to design posters on the themes weaved around energy conservation, water conservation, usage of renewable energy, how to protect environment and biodiversity conservation.
Over 225 students from over 55 schools belonging to 4-8 class standards took part in the drawing contest and enthusiastically displayed their concern and commitment towards environment through their works.
Mrs Sunitha Goparaju, Playback Singer was the Guest of Honour and presented the Award to the school children. Awards were presented to the top 3 posters from each of the 4-8 class standards. Two consolation prizes from each standard were also awarded.
