Jamshedpur: The Indian School of Mines Alumni Association on Friday unveiled its Jamshedpur chapter in a ceremony at 10th Milestone. SJ Sibal, director general, DGMS, a renowned mining engineer and alumni of ISM and also the president of parent body (ISM Alumni) inaugurated the function. Vinod P Sinha, president, ISMAA, Jamshedpur chapter said that alumni of Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad have always been interacting and keep a close relationship amongst the fraternity. An annual function named BASANT is organised at the school itself in the month of January-February. With the growth in the family size, various chapters of Alumni association have been opened and actively organize regular meets across the globe. These bodies organise seminars on relevant topics and present a platform to share ideas by eminent alumni.
