Report by India Education bureau, Bhopal: The State Government has allocated Rs. 18 lakh 25 thousand 998 to 42 colleges under the Vikramaditya Yojna for the year 2012-13. Under the scheme, exemption in tuition fees is given to general category students.

A sum of Rs. 2552 has been allocated to Government Benazir College, Bhopal, Rs. 2239 to Government College, Gairatganj, Rs. 1800 to Ganjbasoda, Rs. 40 thousand to Narsinghpur, Rs. 2758 to Lateri, Rs. 40 thousand to Jeerapur, Rs. 3582 to Amla, Rs. 10 thousand to Multai, Rs. 20 thousand to Sarni, Rs. 30 thousand to Pipariya, Rs. 8120 to Seoni-Malwa, Rs. 2500 to Harda, Rs. 5 lakh 10 thousand to Holkar Science College, Indore, Rs. 10 thousand to Khargone, Rs. 57 thousand 514 to Barnagar, Rs. 3378 to Khachrod, Rs. one lakh 25 thousand to Madhav Science College, Ujjain, Rs. 15 thousand to Shajapur, Rs. 78 thousand 920 to Shujalpur, Rs. 1374 to Haat Pipaliya, Rs. 12 thousand 500 to Science College, Rewa, Rs. 5000 to Raipur Karchuliyan, Rs. 5000 to Nai Garhi and Rs. 2 lakh 32 thousand 500 has been allocated to P.G. College, Satna.

Similarly, a sum of Rs. 52 thousand 500 has been allocated to Government College, Maihar, Rs. 2500 to Ramnagar, Rs. 85 thousand to Post-graduate College, Shahdol, Rs. one lakh 20 thousand 75 to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial College, Sidhi, Rs. 53 thousand to Sihawal, Rs. 30 thousand to Devsar, Rs. 37 thousand 500 to Bina, Rs. 3391 to Chhatarpur, Rs. 1087 to Katangi, Rs. 12 thousand to Baihar, Rs. 500 to Amarwada, Rs. 19 thousand 500 to Post-Graduate College, Mandla, Rs. 20 thousand to Women’s College, Mandla, Rs. 57 thousand to Gotegaon, Rs. 44 thousand 640 to Katni, Rs. 2500 to O.F.K. College, Khamriya, Jabalpur, Rs. 20 thousand 310 to Sihora and Rs. 28 thousand 58 to Government College, Aron.

It is noteworthy that benefit of Vikramaditya Yojna is extended to those students whose parents’ annual income is not more then 54 thousand.
