Shimla: The Department of Information and Public Relations is going to honour the winners of State level slogan writing competitions on 26th June, 2011 at historic Gaiety theatre, Shimla on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuses and Illicit Trafficking.

The Department had invited entries for slogan writing competitions and received 74 such entries. According to the Judges Panel appointed for deciding the best of slogans, Shri Devi Singh Verma of Sarswati Vidya Mandir, Vikasnagar, Shimla was adjudged first whereas Shri Kshemender Mishra from Lower Summer Hill, Shimla and Shri Shivdev Rana from Technical Education Department, Sundernagar, District Mandi stood second and third respectively.

The winners of the competition would receive citation and cash prize of Rs. 1000, Rs. 500 and Rs. 300 respectively for first three positions.
