AMU announces the result of All India Essay Writing Competition

 

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University has announced the results of ‘All India Essay Writing Competition’ organized to mark the bicentenary celebrations of its founder, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. More than 80 participants had participated in the essay completion held on the topic, “Relevance of Sir Syed in the New Millennium”.

With a cash prize of Rs 25,000, Rajvardhan Tiwari, a BALLB student at the Chanakya national Law University, Patna bagged the first prize while Kaif Siddiqui of Aligarh Muslim University won the second place with a cash prize of Rs 15,000. Anusha Pillay, National Institute of Technology, Raipur, has emerged third with a prize of Rs 10,000.

Cash prizes worth Rs 5,000 have further been given to State toppers from colleges and universities all over the country. Top three winners will be awarded prizes on 17th October at the Sir Syed Day Commemorative Meeting by the chief guest. A cheque for the prize money along with certificates will be sent to all state toppers at their respective addresses.
