Apeejay School-Noida organises CODE 2018

Noida: Apeejay School, Noida hosted its annual Computer Symposium ‘CODE – 2018’ themed ‘Veni, Vidi, Vici’. About 35 prestigious schools and around 750 students from Delhi-NCR participated in this annual extravaganza.
School Principal, S.C. Tiwari, declared the event open. In all, there were twelve events including Encred X, Movie Making, R3Mix, Framed (Photography), Digital Imaging, Code++ (Programming), Gaming, Keynote, Robo Race (Robotics), PC Logo, Quiz and Web Designing.
Mr. Pankaj Kumar Dalela, Group Leader, C-DOT, was the Chief Guest for the event. He addressed the gathering and shared his experience with them. He referred to the young technocrats as gold mine of the country, who had a promising future.
It was a proud moment for Apeejay School, Noida as a galaxy of eminent guests and judges consisted of Apeejay School, Noida alumni: Siddhant Joshi, Film Maker, Vidhu Popli, Head-Distt IT Cell, District Manager, Indian National Congress, Sankalp Bansal, Entrepreneur, Mr. Aditya Rohatgi, Music Producer and Arnab Bansal, Robotics Expert. It was a nostalgic moment for them to visit their Alma Mater.
The panel of judges for various events comprised: Nitin Khurana, Software Architect, Cadence Design Systems, Alok Kumar, Sr. Program Manager, DXC Technology, Anjali Mehta, Freelance Illustrator and Graphic Designer, Mayank Sharma, Photographer, National Geographic Channel, Anurag Gupta, Founder and Director, Stemrobo Tech. Pvt. Ltd., Shailee Tripathi, Astt. Manager, Stemrobo Tech. Pvt. Ltd. and Tirath Singh Bindra, Innovative Engineer, Stemrobo Tech. Pvt. Ltd.
An impressive Light and Sound Show was also presented by the CODE members. The overall trophy was lifted by Somerville School, Noida.
