According to Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, President of BSDU, “The objective of this MoU is to impart training and develop entrepreneurial qualities in the students in the emerging area of tire maintenance services by joining hands with such a valued startup, Fleeca India Private Limited with its HO situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Tire cost adds a major part in overall cost of operations for any logistic provider. With increasing cost of fuel and other maintenance cost, it is getting quite difficult for transporters to manage overall business. Fleeca India is trying the address the same and with this MoU, our students will also get chance to learn and choose relevant career path in this field.

According to IMARC Group report, the global tire market has touched three billion units in 2017. The global tire market is growing at nearly 4.5 per cent CAGR over the last seven years. Fleeca India with tire maintenance system can assure 15 per cent longer life of tires than before.

Mr. Mohanjit Singh Walia, Principal, School of Automotive Skills – BSDU says, “The students will be highly benefited by getting an opportunity of earning while learning during the internship provided by Fleeca India and also permanent employment will be offered to deserving students at the end of B.Voc. Degree. Students with entrepreneurial aspirations will benefit by setting up their own Fleeca Centre for which the company will be supporting them.”

Mr. Tikam Chand Jain, Founder, Fleeca India Private Limited says, “This partnership with BSDU will facilitate students to have on-the-job training, and we will welcome those candidates directly on our payroll. Also, we will try and provide all possible support to those students who aspire to start the own tire management services at their native places. We are also instilling artificial intelligence technology for future development to give better services to our clients.”

Remarkable to note is that Fleeca India uses radio frequency identification technique to track overall mileage throughout the lifecycle of tires.
