BSE Institute opens the second edition of ‘Dalal Street Lit Fest Exchange’ in full swing

Mumbai: BSE Institute Limited (BIL) launched its second edition of Dalal Street Lit Fest Exchange, an exchange of thoughts and ideas, today at the historical International Convention Hall, BSE. The first day of the event witnessed active participation from India’s best-selling authors, art connoisseurs and hundreds of students.

The lit fest was inaugurated by Ms. Anshula Kant – Managing Director, SBI, Ms. Deena Mehta, Director – Asit C Mehta Securities, Ms. Meera Shenoy, Founder-CEO, Youth4Jobs & Mr. Ambarish Datta, Managing Director & CEO, BSE Institute Ltd., The lamp lighting and bell-ringing ceremony to mark the beginning of the LitFest was followed with a keynote address by the guest of honors.

Dalal Street Lit Fest exchange, an exchange of Words, Thoughts & Expressions amalgamate the two diverse world of Literature & Finance. The fest presents an array of workshops to choose from, talks and discussions in the presence of some truly inspirational personalities, and also performances by aspiring artists of all genres.

Dalal Street Lit Fest Exchange brings together Artists, industry bigwigs, thinkers, humanitarians, philanthropist, business leaders, journalists, entertainers & emerging talents under one roof.

DSLFX2018 features engrossing panel discussions on topics like Inclusiveness & Women Empowerment. Famous authors like, Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai, Mr. Ashwin Sanghi, Mr. Sunil Dalal, Mr. Anand Neelakantan, Mr. Alok Kejrilwal, Mr. Anuj Tiwari, Ms. Prachi Garg, Renowned business journalist, Mr. Tamal Bandyopadhyay & Shri Gaurang Das ji, ISKON will be gracing the occasion. The fest also features exclusive book launch by Ms. Reshma Qureshi & Mr. Kautuk Srivastava.

The opening ceremony of the Dalal Street Lit Fest Exchange 2018 was followed by the launch of an exclusive report on the inclusiveness of the differently abled in the workplace. BSE Institute Limited in partnership with Youth4jobs Foundation and BFSI Sector Skill Council of India had undertaken this study to examine the issue of education, training and recruitment of persons with disability in the BFSI sector in India. The aim of this study was to examine the shortage of persons with disabilities role models as well as understand some organizations who have successfully adapted their work place environment to include differently abled persons into the mainstream work force.
