Cultural Procession during Teachers’ Day Celebration at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran celebrated its Annual affair ‘Euphoria 2019’ with the exuberant participation of all the faculty members belonging to various departments. A diverse procession was witnessed which included performances like comic recitation, skit on women empowerment, traditional dance forms, devotional singing and a special feature on religious barriers. The Department of Hotel Management & Catering Technology won the 1st prize for performing a skit depicting the branches of hospitality. This was followed by a fashion show gala which crowned Sandeep Khatkar and Umag, Faculty members of Applied science department as Mr & Ms Euphoria respectively.
18 teachers were awarded the ‘Best Teacher Award’ citations, while 88 were honoured with ‘Certificates of Excellence and Appreciation’ in teaching learning process and their valuable contribution in research and innovation. Along with this, 36 Non teaching staff members were bestowed with ‘Best worker’ for their dedicated and innovative approach in their specific field.
While appreciating the efforts of the team, Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu and President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal said, “We are grateful that CGC has become one of foremost choice of employees.
