District Police dedicate passenger shed to general public, distribute Covid kits among BPL families

Doda: District Police Doda today dedicated a passenger shed to general public constructed on Doda-Bharat Road near Nalwa.

The shed was constructed under Civic Action Programme by District Police Doda under the supervision of Mumtaz Ahmed, SSP.

An elderly person of the area inaugurated the shed in the presence of Jaswant Singh, Dy.SP Hqrs Doda and Inspector Arun Parkash SHO P/S Doda.

The locals of the area lauded the efforts of Police for initiating various programmes for the benefit of general public. They thanked District Police Doda for resolving this long pending demand which was being raised by the public in several Police public meetings.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 protection kits were also distributed by District Police Doda among nearly 50 families of downtrodden section of the area under CAP and people were advised to follow the SOPs related to COVID -19 like wearing of masks, use of sanitizer, maintaining of physical distance etc. Locals of the area urged the Police to carry out such programs in future also for the benefit of general public.
