Founding Years Learning Solutions Acquires Intellitots Learning Pvt Ltd.

Gurgaon: Founding Years Learning Solutions, the parent company of KLAY Schools and The Little Company, has acquired Gurgaon-based Intellitots Learning Pvt Ltd. in a Business Transfer Agreement.

With the NCR region representing a key growth area for Founding Years in the next two years, this acquisition will help consolidate their leadership position in the city and provide a multitude of offerings to parents and corporate partners alike.

Through this acquisition, Founding Years, KLAY’s parent entity, now has an expanded footprint of over 95 centers pan-India, further strengthening its position as the largest non-franchise chain of early childcare centers in the country.

Intellitots was founded in 2008 with 5 premium preschool and daycares centers in Gurgaon with an enrollment of over 400 children. Intellitots has been awarded with several Excellence in preschool education awards over the years. The chain broke new grounds with neuroscience based research in the area of early years learning in collaboration with Dr Hardiman of John Hopkins School of Education.

Speaking on the acquisition, Priya Krishnan, Founder & CEO, Founding Years Learning Solutions said: “KLAY has always believed in strengthening its position not just in terms of quantity, but also quality. Intellitots is a premium and well-established brand in the Gurgaon-NCR region. It was built around the importance of using scientific methods to aid in early years of a child’s development. This will give KLAY an edge and add value to us not only in Gurgaon, but across the country.”

From Intellitot’s perspective, their Founder Director Pooja Goyal shares, “We are delighted to have joined hands with KLAY and Founding Years, one of the most respected childcare and early-learning school chain in the country. Intellitots has been acclaimed worldwide for its research and work in early years learning and we are excited to take this agenda forward in partnership with KLAY. We believe that this association will draw from the strengths from both companies and will be instrumental in providing high quality early learning and care to a much broader set of families.”
