Four Young Climbers from Telangana Conquer New Heights

 

Hyderabad:  Winners and Achievers, a pioneering adventure company led by famous mountaineer Satyarup Siddhanta and I3 foundation of Ranchi, is thrilled to announce the successful completion of four days youth expedition. The expedition saw four brave young adventurers from Telangana embark on an exhilarating journey, setting new benchmarks for youth involvement in high-altitude expeditions.

 

The expedition included four talented and determined young explorers: Lattupally Lalithya Reddy, Shamin Ramesh Kyatham, Lattupally Srihan Reddy, and Goli Preetham from Telangana and Jahnvi Mantri and Riya Shridhar from Mumbai in the age range of 11-16 years. These youngsters showcased remarkable courage and resilience as they tackled the challenges of the expedition, supported by the comprehensive safety measures and expert guidance provided by Satyarup Siddhanta and his team.

 

To ensure the highest standards of safety, a comprehensive insurance coverage was arranged, including helicopter evacuation services. The expedition team carried their own oxygen supplies and had a doctor on call to address any medical needs during the journey. These measures reflect the company’s unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of its participants.

Goli Preetham: “This expedition has ignited a passion for adventure in me. I feel more confident and ready to take on new challenges.”

 

The 14-day expedition began with an arrival in Kathmandu on the 5th of May. On the 6th, the adventure kicked off with a flight to Lukla, followed by a hike to Phakding. The journey from Phakding to Namche Bazaar took place on the 7th of May, leading to two days of acclimatization in Namche Bazaar on the 8th and 9th. The trek continued from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche on the 10th, and from Tengboche to Dingboche on the 11th, with two more days of acclimatization in Dingboche on the 12th and 13th. The 14th saw the group trekking to Lobuche, followed by the challenging route from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (EBC) and then to Gorakshep on the 15th. The 16th was marked by an early morning trek to Kalapatthar, then descending to Pheriche. The descent continued with a trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar on the 17th and from Namche Bazaar to Monjo/Phakding on the 18th. The final trekking day, the 19th, involved hiking back to Lukla and flying back to Kathmandu. The expedition concluded with the participants flying back home on the 20th of May.
