Guest lecture on Motivation and Stress conducted at Amity University

Gurgaon : A Guest lecture on Motivation and Stress was conducted for all Teaching; Non – Teaching; Students of Amity Military College and Group D staff at Amity University, Gurgaon on 13th July 2017. The Guest speaker for the said event was Dr. Brahmdeep Sindhu, Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, Gurgaon.
Ms. Reena Nigam, Head of Department, Amity Skills Institute welcomed the speaker and expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries and the staff / faculty of Amity who had gathered for the event and emphasized about importance of Motivation and its necessity in our day today life. This was followed by Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee sharing her stirring experience with the Amitians that how motivated staff / employee can act as a force multiplier by their positive contribution towards the Organizational growth. She reiterated that all Amitians in whatever capacity they are working their contribution are equally important and they all should work like a well-knit family towards achieving Mission and Goal of the University. Dr. Viveak Ballyan, Manager HR echoed that our endeavor should be to remain happy in every circumstances and we should enjoy each and every moment in one’s life, and face the problems with a optimistic attitude, this was followed by playing Video clipping of our Hon’ble VC who shared his experiences.
The Speaker Dr. Sindhu shared his experience and laid prominence on what is Stress which he covered in a very lay man / simplistic process by connecting with the audience and sharing day today case studies. He said that the solution to the problem lies in our outlook ie, way we perceive and our approach in addressing the same as resources available at our disposal to address these requirements are limited. His words were so inspiring that all the Amitians present wished that these experiences / wisdoms would help them to bourgeon and sail through and address daily challenges with positive attitude.
The talk concluded with a huge round of standing ovation.
