Gujarat CM initiate Digital Class in Government Primary School

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani today initiated smart class in Government Primary School of Koba near Gandhinagar and said that State Government has made 3300 classrooms as virtual classes of the state.

Mr. Rupani said that the than Chief Minister and present Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi during his tenure has always given importance to smart classes and following this, Gujarat has been a pioneer in providing modern knowledge with smart-virtual class through early education in childhood. We need to expand the knowledge of children of poor or middle class through such smart and virtual class. He elaborated the role performed by the Government to realize the vision of Prime Minister to make the education system knowledge based.

Mr. Rupani said that Government has allocated Rs. 25 thousand crore for the education sector. Government with the help of social organizations and donors has laid the foundation for making education strong. Provides NAMO Tab to the students entering the first year of college at a nominal cost of 1000 Rs. and college campus have been made WiFi, he added.

In Gujarat, new directions of world-class education have been opened by Mr. Modi. In year 1995 there were only 7 universities which have increased to 57 universities in the state. With the increase in seats in engineering and medical colleges, the youth of Gujarat gets the chance for higher studies in the state.

There has been a holistic development in the field of agriculture, education, water management and roads in Gujarat. Prime Minister initiated Make-in-India, Digital India, Startup India and clean India mission which has given new global directions to the development of the nation.

He also praised the spirit for contribution of organizations for the Digital revolution in the primary schools of rural areas.
