Himachal Pradesh School Education Board declared +2 result in 24 days

 

Dharamshala : Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has declared the +2 (class 12th) result on Monday at Dharamshala. This exam was conducted from 6 to 29 th March this year. By this way the board has declared this result within 24 days only. Informing PTI the Chairman of HP Education Board , Dr Suresh Kumar Soni said, “This year a total number of 95,492 students appeared in +2 for science, commerce and arts streams, out of this 58949 passed the exam and 16102 were placed under compartment.” Thus the result stood to be 62.1 %. This result was 70.18% in 2018 and 72.89% in 2017.

Soni further informed that the top positions were registered by private schools in all the streams. Ashmita Sharma daughter of Ravinder Sharma of DAV School Una toped in the Arts Stream by obtaining 482/500 (96.4%) marks , Anil Kumar son of Dev Raj of Sai Star School Dhalpur Kullu topped in Science Stream by securing 493/500 ( 98.6%)marks and Preeti Birsanta daughter of Chamel singh of Career Academy School, Nahan topped the Commerce section by securing 494/500 ( 98.8%) marks.
