ICA Edu Skills along with Galgotias University organized a Faculty Development Program on ‘GST and Students’ Employability’
Greater Noida: ICA Edu Skills, a leading talent development company, involved with training skilled manpower for the industry since 1999, in association with Galgotias University, organized a Faculty Development Program on the highly relevant issue — ‘GST implications and Students Employability’. The program was attended by almost 150 participants.
The objective of the Program was to help faculty members update themselves with latest developments in the context of the far-reaching changes taking place in the economy and their impact on education and career opportunities. They also need to update themselves with the subject matter and think on how to build quick relationships with students and industry. This programme aims at enhancing the academic and intellectual environment in the Institutions by providing faculty members with opportunities to update their research and pedagogical skills.
The participants were addressed by experts such as CA Rohit Surana, who spoke on GST and Mr. Dilip Chenoy, who talked about Students Employability.
The speakers provided participants an understanding of the prevalent trends and the skills required to be effective teachers. They have also explained the role and mechanisms of GST as well as its implications for the Indian economy. At the end of the day-long program, certificates were given to all registered participants.
