IIIT-Delhi’s Winter School on AI Upgrades the Tech Capabilities of the Future Talents

New Delhi: With increasing focus on research and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), the requirements and nature of jobs are slowly changing; considering the same Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D) announces its winter school on Artificial Intelligence for January 2019. Supported by Infosys Center for Artificial Intelligence the programme will be organized at the institute’s campus, Okhla Phase-3, New Delhi, from 18th January, 2019 and will continue till 21st January, 2019. Through this unprecedented initiative, IIIT-D aims to well-equip the future talents of IT industry with in-depth knowledge and expertise to deal with the AI capabilities and possibilities for a range of industries. From students and faculties to government officials and industry professionals, the Winter School is open for all those who are looking for an opportunity to hone their skills.

Along with guiding the participants about the foundations in core AI, ML, Deep Learning and Data Analytics, the school curriculum will also have tracks related to three domains: computer vision, natural language processing, and autonomous driving, robotics to make the talent ready for a disruptive future ahead.Besides theory and practical exposure, participants will also get to interact with several skilled and seasoned professionals. On the completion of the programme, each successful participant will be awarded a certificate from the Infosys Center for Artificial Intelligence at IIIT-D.

On the introduction of Winter School on Artificial Intelligence Prof. Mayank Vatsa, Head of the Infosys Center for Artificial Intelligence at IIIT-Delhi said,“After witnessing large turnaround of participants at the institute’s previously organized schools related to Machine Learning and Data Science, we are coming up with Winter School on AI and ML to ensure more and more future talents get skilled with the current and potential applications of AI and ML and gain a competitive edge at the global stage.”
