IIM Kozhikode collaborates with Stanford University to provide Masterclass Lecture Series on Design thinking and Innovation to the EPGP Program
Kozhikode: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), one of India’s top ranked business schools today announced collaboration with Stanford University as part of its premier executive education program, EPGP.
IIMK pioneered the Interactive Learning (IL) Program for working executives in the entire Asia Pacific way back in 2001. Having started with 300 contact hours in 2001-02, the two year long Executive Post Graduate Program (2-year Executive Diploma programme) is today the most rigorous & the most sought-after executive program in management in the country with 738 contact hours. The program is conducted in association with Times Professional Learning Ltd (Part of The Bennett Coleman Company Ltd.). The EPGP program is accredited by the AMBA (Association of MBAs) since 2011. IIMK has been continuously updating the program curriculum to stay on par with global standards.
IIM Kozhikode is the first IIM to collaborate with an Ivy League University in an Executive Education Program. The Masterclass Webinar Series in Design Thinking & Innovation provides a cohesive educational experience tailored to the goals of IIMK. Five webinars, provided over the course of one year, will allow participants to receive live lectures from Stanford faculty. The participants will also receive individual certificates of participation from Stanford University.
Design Thinking & Innovation will introduce participants to the nature of innovation and creativity, and how to use the design thinking process to promote and scale innovation within their organizations. Participants will learn how to support innovative ideas and practices, design teams to foster innovative projects, identify pockets of innovation and excellence, and create processes which reveal innovative solutions to organizational or customer issues.

The collaboration with Stanford University not only provides a strategic opportunity for the participants of EPGP of IIMK to learn from the Stanford Faculty but also explore the possible cutting-edge research and other engagements in future for the IIMK faculty fraternity.
