IIM Kozhikode’s Flagship PGP Surges 9 Places to Best-Ever World Rank 68 in Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2024

 

  • In a first, IIM Kozhikode also breaks into Top-50 globally at Rank 48 in ‘Career Progression’ category, in FT MiM Ranking 2024

Kozhikode : The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), continued its remarkable global ascendancy by leapfrogging 9 spots to nail its best-ever Rank #68 in the 2024 edition of the prestigious Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking released todayThe Institute had made its global debut in these Rankings at 77th position last year, in 2023Among Asian B-Schools, IIM Kozhikode is placed at 9th position for its flagship Post Graduate Programme (MBA). This recognition follows IIMK’s other improved showing in the 2024 Financial Times Ranking Executive Education (Open Enrollment) category, where it had gained two spots to be at 70th (among the top-80 open-enrollment executive program providers worldwide) after making its debut at #72, in 2023.

In a first, IIM Kozhikode has also broken into the Top-50 Rank globally by reaching #48 in the ‘Career Progression’ category of these Rankings. A total of 141 Masters in Management (MiM) programmes took part in the ranking process in 2024. IIM Kozhikode with its improved showing stands out as one of the seven IIMs and fourteen Indian B-Schools to feature prominently in the top-100 FT Masters in Management Ranking 2024. Business schools are evaluated based on 19 criteria, such as alumni earnings three-years post-graduation, career advancement, the strength of the alumni network, diversity in terms of gender and international representation among students and faculty, as well as their dedication to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. Alumni feedback shapes eight metrics that make up 56% of the overall ranking. The remaining 44% is derived from school-provided data across 11 additional criteria.

Furthermore, IIMK was recognized among the top 151-200 Institutes in ‘Business & Management Studies’ globally in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2024, released in April 2024. The institute also bagged the Top-3 spot in Ministry of Education’s NIRF Ranking 2024, for a second-year running.
