IIT Kanpur won the Regional Round of NTPC Electron Quiz in Lucknow

Lucknow: Lucknow edition of NTPC’s Electron Quiz 2018 was held on September 7, 2018 at Babu Banarasi Das University Campus, Lucknow. The quiz witnessed IIT Kanpur bagging the first position followed by Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT) Kanpur in the second and Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT) Sultanpur secured the third position.

On the occasion, Shri K K Singh, Regional Executive Director, North Region, NTPC was the Chief Guest at the Electron Quiz and presented awards to the winners. First prize was awarded to Pradunma Chaudhary and Ansul Roy from IIT Kanpur, followed by Mritunjay Tiwary and Vaibhav Sharma from Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT) Kanpur as second position. Third position was bagged by Shubham Pandey and Sanidhya Srivastava from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT) Sultanpur.

Other teams present were Sri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management Lucknow (SRMCEM), Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow and a second team from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT) Sultanpur. Shri KM Prashanth, Addl. General Manager, Corporate Communication, NTPC and Shri Sujit Varkey, Addl. General Manager (HR), NTPC conducted the quiz.

The Electron Quiz 2018, Lucknow saw 110 teams participating from the most prestigious management and technical institutions. These three teams will now participate in the national finals to be held at NTPC Business School cum Power Management Institute (PMI), Noida on 18th September 2018.

NTPC Electron Quiz 2018 attracts participation from leading B Schools and premier engineering colleges for its regional rounds held in Delhi, Patna, Kolkata, Mumbai, Lucknow and Hyderabad.
