IMI-New Delhi to host its Alumni Chapters Meet in 7 cities in India

New Delhi: International Management Institute (IMI) – New Delhi, one of the leading management schools in New Delhi, will be hosting Alumni Chapter Meets in India. It will be organized by the Alumni Relations Committee of the institute from February 16th 2019.

With the admission process in full throttle, the faculty of IMI -New Delhi is visiting 17 centers all across India to conduct writing ability tests and personal interviews for selection among suitable candidates. Considering this, the Alumni Relations Committee of the institute plans to hold ‘Chapter Meets’ in 7 cities where the admission process is on.

Prof Arvind Chaturvedi, Dean-Development and Alumni Relations, IMI-New Delhi said “We are excited to organize the Alumni Chapter Meets along with our admission process. Conducting such meets have always been advantageous as they help in strengthening our bond with our alumni across the country in order to foster the growth of our industry linkages. Vis-a-vis, we also gain better understating of on-job challenges faced by young generation and other social and cultural aspects to provide exposure to our student base.”

IMI had its National Alumni Meet in December 2018 and the chapter meets will also be organized in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kolkata,, Hyderabad, and Pune. Since large number of faculty members also attends these chapter meets, it brings the alumni and faculty together to reconnect.

Apart from the Alumni Chapter Meet, the institute also conducts its National Alumni Meet every year in New Delhi and three countries namely, London, Dubai and Singapore to help it connect better with its stakeholders and to foster strong relationship among the alumni of the institute. Other than the Dean Alumni relations and the faculty members, the Director General Dr. Himadri Das will also be visiting various cities to meet alumni in India and abroad.
