IMS Noida organised “IMS UTSAV” at their campus

 

Noida, May 18, 2017: Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida, one of the leading management institutes of India has organised a unique event “IMS Utsav” commemorating completion of 20 years in the field of education at their campus recently. The celebration has been attended by the management, faculty members, students, alumni and staff.
“IMS Utsav” was a festival of excellence and the theme was based on versatility of skill, and was focused on creativity and innovation of the students. The main aim of organizing such event was to creating opportunities and realising the start-up dreams of the students across the departments at the institute.
During the event, Dr. KJS Anand, Executive Director, IMS Noida said, “We are glad that today our students are making the name of the institution proud not only in academics but also in sports and social activities with their versatile skills. In the last 20 years, the institution has put constant effort to achieve excellence in the field of education. Along with making the students of this institution progressive and talented, we attempt to equip them with versatile skill.”
The program started with an auspicious start to the event by lighting candles, which was followed by Ganesh Vandana, performed by Ria Taneja’s Fit and Twist Dance Academy. Energetic anchoring of the institute’s in-house radio station, Salaam Namaste’s RJ Barsha Chabaria enthralled the audience. The dazzling performances and the giving away of the annual awards was graced by chief guest of the evening, Dr. K.J.S Anand (Executive Director IMS Noida) and guest of honours Commodore Vijay Chaturvedi, Ms. Dipti Pant (Executive Director, IMS DIA), Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Ex- Captain Indian Hockey Team, Padmashree, Arjuna Awardee), Mr. Farhaan Sabeer (Winner of The Voice Season II) and Mr. Gustavo Makanaky (First Secretary Of Colombian Embassy In India).

Promoting excellence in versatility, the institution also gave away awards to achievers from various field and section such as IMS department rankers, School rankers, IMS Alumni, CCS University Rankers and IMS faculties and staffs. The entertainment quotient of the program was high as students showcased some of their unique talents such as beat boxing, Taekwondo and various form of dance. Adding to the charm of the evening was Farhan Sabeer’s soulful performance, which left the crowd awestruck.
This event organized as well as led by the students awakens each individual to take the lead, start a new beginning and build a bright future with life full of fragrance and colours. The event comes to an end with a high note skit performed by BBA & BCA students of IMS and a super energetic Bhangra dance by Ria Taneja’s Fit and Twist dance group.
