IMS Noida organized ‘Management Haat’ a unique event to showcase different business ways and marketing skills

Noida: Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Noida recently organized an exhibition–cum-event titled “Management Haat” based on the innovation & creativity of the students. The main aim of organising such event was to creating opportunities and realising the start-up dreams of the students across the departments at the institute. The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Mrs. Maya Singh, Mrs. Universe, Central Asia 2015.

A unique platform for Innovation and creativity with a theme of “HAAT” was designed by the students of management wherein students from different academic backgrounds participated and showcase their innovative ideas throughout all stages of Entrepreneurial ventures. In all 20-30 different themes in small stalls has been exhibited on different products and services. Some of the themes were based on Mini Malaysia; Best out of waste Jewellery; Bindi the women and the balloon shooting in a different way, etc.

The event was organized by college’s management section in which there were more than 2 dozen stalls of food, make-up, music, sports and junk. The event has been supported by companies like V-Welfare Society Sai Entertainment, RSS, etc. Various parameters were designed by the juries for evaluating the ideas and entrepreneurial skills and the winners of the evening were crowned in categories like Investment made and profit earned (winner Carom Game concept); Best creative and innovative idea (joint winners were handmade chocolates and messages on themed balloons) and Pick of the Crowd has been given to Stall for Shikanji.

During this occasion, the students also showcased home décor items made from junk which comprises of ornaments, decoration items, pen stands from biscuit packets, rangoli out of cloth carton etc. and many more.
