The fact that it’s a unique concept and its core lies in pure, unadulterated music.”

Only female constituent of the group, Sanjana Bhola, who presents herself as the renowned qawwals of the olden days, holds: “Our University keep on providing us dignified platforms to express our inner-self in the best possible way. After winning AIU’s qawwali competition, our mentors at LPU directed us to apply for auditions and from there after winning other rounds we reached Mumbai at the show. We are continuously getting much love and blessings from our admirers and we hope never to disappoint. We will continue to perform our best for this very special ‘Qawwali Genre’.

In fact, in contrast to other Channels’ singing competitions, Colors’ ‘Rising Star’ features celebrity experts and considers viewers sitting before their TV Screens as judges.
