New Zealand universities invite applications for scholarships

 

To help advance Indian students’ careers through specialist studies, all eight New Zealand universities are jointly offering 35 scholarships for a range of graduate and post graduate programmes starting in February 2018. The initiative called New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) encourages ambitious and capable Indian students to study at world-class universities in New Zealand.

New Zealand universities are among the best in the world. As per the QS World Rankings all these are within the top 3 percent universities worldwide. New Zealand education promotes the spirit of invention, innovation and collaboration. Students are encouraged to think for themselves and inquisitiveness, curiosity and independent thinking is rewarded.

Launched in 2016 as a collaboration between  Education New Zealand and all eight New Zealand Universities, NZEA scholarships were awarded to 29 Indian well deserving students from over 100 applications covering over 59 cities across India.The diverse pool included applications ranging from environment management, treasury, digital forensic, oenology to geological science and viticulture.
