Pearl Academy Introduces New Curriculum ‘Fashion Styling & Image Design’
New Delhi: Pearl Academy launches new course “Fashion Styling & Image Design”. Fashion stylists and image designers are highly sought after in the media industry. Celebrities, media personalities, public figures and general public that is fashion forward need to be appropriately-dressed and styled at all times to maintain their image in front of their fans ,followers and friends. Fashion Styling and Image Design course instills the expertise to create the desired image for these personalities.
Initially, the course focuses on concepts, skills and training to create a sense of style through an image. Gradually, it accentuates the co-relation between thoughts and arrangement of styling solutions in diverse areas of fashion, retail, media and entertainment.
The institute now invites applications for (UG Programme) Under Graduate Programme “Fashion Styling & Image Design” four years B.A. Hons Degree Programme.
The course is aimed at providing students with the knowledge of “Fashion Styling & Image Design”. This course has various modules like Fundamentals of Fashion Styling, Cultural Studies, Communication Skills and Computer Skills. Styling concept are encouraged to take up challenges of the aesthetic profession by reasonable ways of learning. Cultural studies relates to environment, ideology, nationality, ethnicity, social classes its impact on lifestyles and to individual relationships with the collective mind, resulting in formative relationships. Communication is an intrinsic part of our daily life and the classes will encourage creative thought, innovation and effective expression of the same. Fashion promotion in the form of new age media is an integral part of this programme such as blog making and poster development for the purpose of fashion marketing.
This programme has eight semesters in four years, modules taught are specific to Fashion Styling and Image Design : Fashion, Cultures and Trends, Fashion Marketing and Business Development, & Fashion Styling and Image Development. Fashion Styling & Image Design has offered internships/ placements at Elle, Cosmopolitan, Santu Mishra, Puneet Jasuja, Perfect Relations, Ashish Soni and Good Word etc to name a few.
