The Colleges will be able to track their students’ performance in internships secured via Internshala.

Rajasthan Technical University was established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in the state. The university has over 300 colleges including 118 engineering colleges. 2.5 Lac students pursuing engineering and management courses in colleges under RTU’s purview will now have access to internships through Internshala.

Dr. Rajeev Gupta, Pro Vice Chancellor of RTU said, “Students require practical knowledge to land a job and through internships, students gain valuable experience and develop their skills even before graduating. We hope to help students enhance their competency and technical skills through this partnership.”

“Internshala is on a mission to build a ‘world full of opportunities’ and we are excited to partner with RTU especially due to the personal connect I have with Rajasthan. We are looking forward to up-skill over 2.5 Lac students studying in colleges under RTU’s purview. Through this collaboration, we hope to promote skill building in Rajasthan and help the youth find better opportunities,” Sarvesh Agrawal, Founder & CEO, Internshala, said who himself hails from Nawalgarh in Rajasthan.

Internshala was founded in 2010 by Sarvesh Agrawal and provides internship opportunities to over 2 million students registered with it. Students can find internships in a diverse range of fields including engineering, management, applied arts, science, law, design, hotel management, architecture, and so forth.

In 2016-17, 400,000+ internships (across different streams) were listed on Internshala with an average stipend of Rs. 7,500 per month. 40% of the internships also offered an option for interns to convert the internship into a full-time employment upon completion and thus helping students with their job search as well. Both students and colleges can register themselves on Internshala for free.
