Jalandhar: Le Mélange, 2012- the 3rd National Management Fest of Lovely Professional University declared LPU's School of Business overall champion, on its conclusive day. School of Business Administration remained satisfied with Runners Up position. In this two-day organization many Hundreds of students from various B-Schools of the country had projected their learning in academics and management acumen. For 20 events Vidya School of Business Meerut, MIB Delhi University, IIIT Jabalpur, Osmania University Hyderabad, Pacific Business School Udaipur, IIHMR Delhi, also excelled in many competitions, which were open to all commerce and management students. Congratulating all the winners and other participants of the event, the Pro Chancellor of the University Ms Rasmi Mittal said: "The mission of each organization should be towards developing young minds for a better tomorrow. On these lines, le mélange-2012 has proved it to the core, for which all the participants and the organizers deserve appreciation of high rank." She also stated that the faculty of Business and Applied Arts of the University will strive hard to have more than 100 B-Schools from across India and even foreign countries. On this occasion, COO of Videocon Mr Atul Mehra, Sr Vice President Mr DP Singh from Coca Cola, Chief Manager UTI Mutual Funds, Mr Vikram Sood were specially present. The fest showcased management aptitude of budding leaders and entrepreneurs of future India. On contacting participating students Rohini Khandelwal and Manu Joshi; they were of the opinion: "We have fully understood the meaning and aspects of "Le Mélange" at this festival seeing such a huge participation and the nicest facilities. It has provided us a national platform to grow as per the needs of the Industry. We have indeed imbibed the learning and we will certainly remember it as an everlasting and magnanimous experience of our life." In some of the competitions, BBK DAV Amritsar stood First for "The Mighty Pen": Essay Writing, MIB Delhi University for "Biz Wiz": Business Quiz, Vidya School of Business Meerut for "Srijan": Creative Marketing, APeeJay Institute of Management for "Chehre pe Chehra": Face Painting and for "Khel Khel Mein": Management Games, "Spark": B-Plan saw tie between two schools of LPU-School of Management & School of Business, School of Business of LPU for "Expression": Role Play, Maharaja Agarsen Institute of Management & Technology Jagadhri and School of Business Administration LPU for "Punch Mantra": Tag-Line, School of Business for "Cresendo": Ad-Designing, School of Commerce & Economics, LPU for "Talash": Treasure Hunt and University Business school Chandigarh for "Yogyta": Panel Discussion.
