Society Tea to Celebrate “Sounds of Society – Divas at the Opera”, a Specially Curated Music Property Comprising Handpicked Artists on the Occasion of Women’s Day

 

Mumbai: Society Tea – the premium tea makers and a celebrated household name, announced the launch of Sounds of Society – Divas at the Opera on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8th and 9th. The event is being curated by Society Tea for their music property “Sounds of Society”- which will consist of handpicked artists performing at the Royal Opera House.

If there is one ritual that truly symbolizes ‘unity in diversity’, a one common language that transcends regional distinctiveness, it is our love of tea. The Tea Society Called India covers just that and prints of artistically shot campaign images that will also be showcased via a photo essay during the event.

On the first day – March 8th, there will be performances by renowned artists Monica Dogra, Kanchan Daniels and the band Soulmate. On day two – March 9th, Prem Joshua and Parvaaz will be giving power packed performances.

Elated at this occasion, Karan Shah, Director, Society Tea said, “Music is all about collaborations and it is the most integral part of our life. Similarly, tea is an essential part of every Indian household. Through this event we are trying to amalgamate both the elements and bring all these talented artists on a single platform. Considering the leading female artists performing in the event, we couldn’t have chosen a better occasion than women’s day.”

Talking about their latest campaign he added, “While filming The Tea Society Called India campaign Society Tea spent the last year exploring the length and breadth of the country taking incredible images of the tea drinking culture of India. We are glad to showcase these prints at this juncture and celebrate music and tea at the same time.”

These ‘limited edition’ pictures can be bought starting at Rs. 1500/-, proceeds of which will be donated to the NGO of buyer’s choice, such as – The Foundation, Advitya and World for All.
