USHA, NIFT felicitate the Best Garment Construction Award 2017 to Ms. T. C. Lalduhsaki

Bhubaneshwar: Usha International Ltd, one of the leading players in the sewing machine industry felicitated the winner of the ‘NIFT Best Garment Construction Award 2017’ at the convocation ceremony held in Bhubaneshwar yesterday. The company has been sponsoring this prestigious award since the year 2000 to support and encourage young and budding fashion designers. Every year, Usha recognizes one student from each of the twelve NIFT centers that offer the fashion designing course.

At the event that took place in Bhubaneshwar yesterday, USHA International felicitated Ms. T. C. Lalduhsaki with its technologically advanced USHA Janome Dream Maker 120 sewing machine, a trophy, certificate and a cash award of Rs. 10,000/-. The garment designs that were created by all graduating students were showcased during the event.
