Valedictory ceremony for 1st batch of “Freedom Self-employment Cookery Workshop”

 

Hyderabad: Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil in association with NTR Memorial Trust today distributed training completion certificates to the 20 students of “Freedom Self-employment Cookery Workshop” who successfully completed the 45 days training for the 1st batch. Mr. P. Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil & Mr. T. Vishnu Vardhan, Chief Executive Officer, NTR Memorial Trust awarded the certificates to the participants of the 1st batch and announced the 2nd batch of “Freedom Self-employment Cookery Workshop” program to begin from 25th of October 2017.

Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil & NTR trust has so far provided training in Cookery Workshop for 20 women & youths. The purpose of providing training and certification is to support the Youth & women empowerment by promoting their participation in F&B sectors to build strong economies, improve their quality of life. The cookery workshop is conducted by renowned chefs, F&B outlet owners and internationally trained experts at NTR Trust Bhavan, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

The participants of Freedom Self-employment Cookery Workshop at NTR Trust received the training free of cost and will be supported in setting up their own venture. From the 1st batch of 20 participants, 40% participants intend to start their own enterprise in the form of take away points for food, Bakery or Quick service Tiffin centre.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. P. Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil said “As a part of our initiative to support the society, we have partnered with NTR Trusts to organize the Freedom Self Employment Cookery Workshops. We have received an overwhelming response to the Workshop. The participants of Freedom Self-employment Cookery Workshop encouraged to set up their own venture. The second session will be starting post Diwali. From the current batch out of 20 participants 40% participants intend to start their own enterprise in the form of take away points for food, Bakery or Quick service Tiffin centre. Freedom Self-employment Cookery Workshop is being planned at different districts across the twin states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the next One Year.”
