On World Book Day Prof. Ramola Kumar donated books to the underprivileged children

New Delhi: On the eve of World Book Day, Prof. Ramola Kumar, Dean, The Delhi School of Communication launched two books, ‘Dream Words II’ and ‘Chin Chin & the worm’ at the Alliance Française Hall. Prof. Kumar donated many copies of to the underprivileged children of Navjyoti India Foundation, Salaam Baalak Trust, Child Fund, and Genesis Foundation to support and motivate their lives through books.

While Dream Words II is a resounding repertoire of Ramola Kumar’s penned poetry, Chin Chin & the worm is a beautiful collection of short stories. Both the books are captivating and written to inspire the young generation of today.

Dream Words II and Chin Chin & the worm was formerly launched by the Chief Guest of the event, Ms. Prema Sagar, Vice Chairperson, Genesis Burson-Marsteller, along with the Guest of Honour Mr. Jayanto Banerjee, National Head (Strategic Planning) at Hakuhodo Percept India. Mr. Manish Purohit, Co-founder of Authors Up Front was also present for the event.

On the success of the launch Prof. Ramola Kumar, Dean, DSC, said, “Our institution thinks about the inclusive development of society. Because a society cannot progress until and unless equal opportunities are provided to every section. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to read. Access to books gives unprivileged children the chance to shape their own futures. We exist to help more people discover the joy of reading and the opportunities it can bring.
