World University of Design commences admission process for Academic Year 2018-19

New Delhi: The World University of Design (WUD), India’s first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain, announced admissions for 2018-19 session for its Management programs. Programs include BBA in Design Strategy & Management and Retail Business Management and MBA in Design Strategy & Management. Admission will be through a General Aptitude Test (GAT)followed by a personal interview. The University will conduct GAT while also accepting valid scores of CET, CAT, MAT and XAT in lieu of GAT. Applications can be submitted till April 2nd. World University of Design will announce the new admission list by 24th April and the new session will start on August 1st.

Management Program Details

1. BBA in Strategic Design and Management is a three year program which combines studios and seminars that integrate business strategy, design methods, and liberal arts capacities. Design for business and the business of design are at the center of the WUD BBA Strategic Design and Management program.

2. BBA in Retail Business Management is a three year undergraduate course of study in a field of retailing that includes principles of retailing, retail operations, etc. This course keeps in mind the needs of the industry where the students would ultimately find employment, and therefore, has a completely different approach to learning.

3. MBA in Design Strategy & Management program focuses on an entrepreneurial environment with design thinking and creative methodologies. The future belongs to Innovation & Design led organizations. Strategic Design Managers are part of strategy formulation teams in various sectors ranging from BFSI, IT, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Retail& Media. Graduates of this MBA get a niche advantage.
