Z.P.H. Gujarati Kanyashala celebrates 99th Anniversary

Chennai: Sri Z.P.H. Gujarati Kanyashala, Gujarati minority Govt. aided school at Park Town, Chennai, celebrated their 99th year Anniversary – Prashatabdi. A ‘Siddhi Sanman’ – Achievement Awards Function was organized, where Students excelled in the recent public examinations and the teachers who were instrumental for that were felicitated. Manilal M. Mehta Girls Higher Secondary School (Govt. aided), a wing of Z.P.H, has created a record of 100% results in Public Examinations both in X and XII std, for the last 9 years.

Mr. Ashwin Kamdar, MD, Rajyog Constructions gave away mementos to the students and teachers. The function was presided over by Dr. N.R. Dave, well known educationist and social worker.

Headmistress, Z.P.H said, “Sri Z.P.H. Gujarati Kanyashala, was started in 1919 and in the subsequent years, Manilal M. Mehta Girls High School, Higher Secondary School and Z.P.H. Gujarati K.K. Mandal Matriculation schools were started, which are now giving education to more than 1400 children. The schools not only excel in academics but also have acquired proficiency in cultural and social activities. Fantastic results in the recent board examinations is a good sign for 2018 – 19, which will be our memorable centenary – Sathabdi Utsav.”
