11th Vigyan Manthan Yatra from October 5 in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal : Under the Madhya Pradesh Excellence programme, 11th Vigyan Manthan Yatra is being organized by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MAPCOST) Bhopal from October 5 to 15. The yatra is being organized with an objective to generate awareness towards science among the meritorious school students of the state and to encourage scientific approach. A total of 625 meritorious from all the 51 districts of the state will be selected for the yatra. Science students only of five classes i.e. 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standard will be selected as earlier. Moreover, 55 teachers will also be selected for the yatra.

It may be mentioned that five cities have been selected for this 11th Vigyan Manthan yatra. Students of class 8th will visit science institutions research laboratories of Ahmedabad, students of class 9th to Dehradun, students of class 10th students to Pune, students of class 11th to Hyderabad and students of class 12th to Chennai. During the visit students will get an opportunity for interaction with renowned scientists.
