12-Days Annual Leadership Training programme by GCoPE Gbl concludes at Patnitop

 

GANDERBAL : The 12-Days Annual Leadership Training Programme for the students of B. P. Ed Session 2021-22 of Government College of Physical Education Gadoora, Ganderbal concluded at Youth Hostel Patnitop.

The event was flagged-off by Dr. Hartej Singh, Principal of the college on 10th October with a contingent of 85 including students and staff.

During the leadership programme, various activities like trekking, clean-up and layout, painting, crafting, camp fire, cultural programs etc were carried out.

On the occasion, the flag of college was hoisted. Students actively participated in the Campfire function which included programs from different regions and languages.

During the camp fire various cultural programmes were presented by the students which included Kashmiri Rouf, Pahari Song, Bhutan Dance, Ladakhi Dance, a skit on Covid-19, Punjabi bangda etc.

Dr. Singh, briefed the Chief Guest, Ashok Kumar, Director Sports, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra and other dignitaries present about the activities and schedule carried out during the Annual Leadership Training Programme.

He also thanked Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary YSS and Gazanfar Ali, Director Youth Services and Sports for their affection towards the welfare of the college.

The Principal thanked all the teaching staff, ministerial staff, warden Youth Hostel along with staff, Department of PHE and PDD Patnitop and Patnitop Development Authority for their affable support and cooperation during the said training programme.

At the end of the campfire function, an award ceremony was celebrated. Different awards were presented to the students for their participation and involvement in different kinds of activities.
