13 Chinese language students of AMU get job offer from an MNC

 

ALIGARH : Thirteen students of the Department of Foreign Languages, Aligarh Muslim University, including ten undergraduate and 3 postgraduate final year students have been selected by a reputed MNC, Sutherland through an online campus selection drive carried out in multiple rounds.

Prof Muhammad Azhar, Dean, Faculty of International Studies and Chairman, Department of Foreign Languages, said that the selected students include Abu Muslim Jamal, Mohd Arif, Mohd Nasir (MA Chinese) and Taushif Khan, Mohd Azeem, Mohammad Saif Usmani, Mohahmmad Osama Ghazi, Md Ibroj Khan, Taufeeque Ahmad, Khwaja Hasan Tehami, Saqlain Musthtaque, Tafzeelur Ur Rehman and Yogesh (BA Chinese).

He said that the students applied through official online application portal of Sutherland and were tested for aptitude and Chinese language skills through multiple rounds, before getting final selection and offer letter from the company. These students have been hired for Chennai based location of the company to work as an Associate Customer Support.
