1483 beneficiaries enrolled in Rajouri at special camps for SEHAT registration

RAJOURI : To saturate the district under the SEHAT scheme and E Shram Portal, the District administration Rajouri is holding a series of special camps at different locations to register the left out beneficiaries.

The camps are being organized on the directions and supervision of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal.

It is pertinent to mention here that PM-JAY is the world’s largest health insurance/ assurance scheme fully financed by the government. It provides a cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization across scores of public and private empanelled hospitals in India.

Similarly, the E Shram portal is the first-ever National Database of Unorganised Sector Workers (NDUW) created by the Ministry of Labour and Employment to register unorganized workers.

It is also worth mentioning here that the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has also passed directions for saturation of all schemes during the celebrations of Gram Sawraj Month.

The District Administration Rajouri has also issued a circular to all the district and sectoral Officers for submission of action plan or calendar of activities to be organised as part of 100 points campaign to be run during the celebrations of Gram Swaraj Month starting from April 1, 2022.

During these ongoing 7 days special camps are being organised across the districts where the VLEs, Arogya Mitras have been deployed for the task and directed to ensure cent percent coverage of all the eligible persons by organising camps or door to door visits.

Till the last report, 1483 beneficiaries were registered during the special camps organised solely for registering beneficiaries under Sehat scheme.

The field functionaries deployed for the task will also highlight the benefits of SEHAT scheme and e-Shram to motivate people for registration.
