15-Days Induction Training Prog for NYVs Concludes at Baramulla

Baramulla: To generate awareness about various flagship schemes and programmes and to inculcate sense of responsibility and commitment among youth, a 15 days long induction training programme for National Youth Volunteers (NYVs concluded today in Dobiwan Tangmarg in which volunteers belonging to Central and North Kashmir, participated in a large number.
Training programme was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Baramulla .The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo was invited as the chief guest and the SSP Baramulla Abdul Quyoom as the guest of honour.
During the training period, the volunteers carried out several activities including debates, youth parliaments and seminars besides several exposure tours were also conducted.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC complimented the participants and said that the training module imparted to them would have positive impact on their attitude.
The SSP, in his address said that youth can play a proactive role in the socio-economic development of the society and urged them to act as ambassadors for generating awareness about various flagship and welfare programmes launched in their respective areas.
Later the DC distributes felicitation certificates and sports kits among the participants.
Deputy Director NYK Nazir Ahmad Shah, SDM Gulmarg, District Youth Coordinators of Baramulla, Kupwara, Budgam and Srinagar and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
