17th Brigadiers MNS Work Study Conference to be held virtually on 08 Dec

 

The 17th Brigadiers MNS Work Study Conference is being conducted in virtual mode on 08 Dec 2023 with the objective to explore strategies to improve the quality of nursing care to AFMS clientele with optimum utilization of available resources. DGMS (Army) Lt Gen Arindam Chatterjee will deliver the opening address, while Maj Gen Ignatius Delos Flora, Addl DGMNS will be chairing the session. Senior MNS officers from all commands including the Navy and Air Force will join together on this virtual platform to deliberate on issues about patient care, nursing administration, and training.

The Brigadiers MNS Work Study Conference was initiated in the year 2006 and is held annually under the aegis of the Adjutant General and DGMS (Army). The conference is chaired by Addl DGMNS and is attended by senior MNS officers in the rank of Brigadiers and above.

There are a total of 18 Brigadiers in the Military Nursing Service are at the second level hierarchy of administration. The annual Brigadiers MNS Work Study conference is a platform for the Brigs MNS to converge for deliberating upon various issues that influence the way they render quality nursing care to soldiers of tri service and their families. Constructive communication by exchange of ideas and suggestions in the conclave is very effective in finding solutions and forming strategies to tackle complex issues about patient care by nursing administrators.
