18th Inclusive Finance India Summit 2021 to be held on December 14-15, 2021

New Delhi : ACCESS Development Services will host the 18th Inclusive Finance India Summit virtually and the Inclusive Finance India Awards 2021 at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi on December 14-15, 2021. NITI Aayog is a co-host to the Inclusive Finance India Summit 2021.

Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog will recognize institutions at the Inclusive Finance India Awards 2021 for their exemplary and transformative role of financial inclusion by providing accessible and affordable financial services to the poor, marginalized and weaker section of the society.

Dr Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chair, NITI Aayog & Sivasubramanian Ramann, Chairman and Managing Director, SIDBI will release the ‘Inclusive Finance India Report 2021’ at the summit themed ‘Building Financial Resilience: Strategies for Revival’.

The 2-day summit will host over 124 eminent thought leaders and sector specialists across 26 sessions. Some prominent speakers and panelists include Junaid Ahmad, India Country Director, World Bank, N S Viswanathan, Former Deputy Governor, RBI, Dr Ashok Dalwai, Chief Executive Officer, National Rainfed Area Authority, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmer’s Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Dr G R Chintala, Chairman, NABARD and Greta Bull, Director, Women’s Economic Empowerment, BMGF among others.

The report will highlight how the pandemic has brought about changes in the income and finances of underserved individuals, businesses and low-income households as well as the challenges faced by financial institutions that cater to them. The report represents emerging trends in the financial inclusion sector, highlights policy perspectives, achievements and grey areas for action. The mainstay proposition of the report is to provide rich information for learners, practitioners, researchers, policy makers and public administrators who are committed to furthering the cause of financial inclusion in India. The Summit will also hold discussions on building better with micro-finance, financial education, gender and finance, finance for agriculture and future of financial services among others.
