1st Edition of Zell Achiever’s Award celebrated the budding talent in the field of Accounting and Finance

Zell Education, India’s fastest growing edtech organisation with a mission to be the finest education providers in the field of F & A organised the first edition of Zell Achievers award. A one of a kind event that brought together aspiring finance and accounting students, rank holders and industry experts with years of experience to celebrate the ACCA affiliates and discuss the landscape of upskilling in the Finance and Accounting sector.

Finance and accounting being the oldest professions in the world is now evolving at a rapid pace. With technology and digitization taking over every sector and changing its working process, questions regarding innovative fintech startups, talent outsourcing and online learning were raised.

Zell’s award function was graced by respected panelists in the industry like Nirbhay Vassa, Executive Director & Group CFO at Abans Group, Jamil Khatri, Co-founder & CEO Uniqus Consultech, Parth Gandhi, Founder & CIO Bombay Capital and Ananth Begani, Co-founder & Executive Director at Zell Education.

The event started with a keynote by Ananth Begani on how Zell Education started as a small coaching institute and how it has shaped up to be one of the greatest EdTechs in the Finance and Accounting industry. Today Zell Education has students from across the world learning online or flying down to Mumbai for a classroom training. Even with such exponential growth, the Zell vision remains the same – to continuously enhance the customer experience.

After Ananth Begani’s keynote, a panel discussion began with the industry experts where questions on the future of banking industry after fintech startups like Cred, importance of upskilling, and the role of automation in finance and accounting industry were discussed. Needless to say, every answer, every story and every insight shared by the leaders gave us all something to think about.

The panel discussion ended with a question and answer round with the students, where the advice for all students to show up and never give up was shared.

The panel discussion was later followed by an awards ceremony wherein the faculty members, ACCA affiliates and rank holders received awards from our esteemed guests.
