1st International Symposium on Current Trends in Advanced Materials (CTAM-24) in association with American Chemical Society  

 

Amaravati  – The inauguration of first edition of International Symposium on Current Trends in Advanced Materials (CTAM-24) was held at VIT-AP Campus. The 6-day symposium is being organized by Department of Chemistry, School of Advanced Sciences, VIT-AP University, in association with American Chemical Society. The symposium aims to bring together renowned researchers and academicians from around the globe to discuss the latest advancements and applications in filtration technologies, nanomaterials design, polymeric materials, marine ecosystem dynamics, photonic materials, green hydrogen generation, solar cell technologies, electric-vehicle batteries and biomaterials. Several highly accomplished speakers from Indian academia and from University of Cambridge, Tokyo University of Science, Hanyang University, TATA Steel, India and EATON, USA will deliver keynote lectures.   The inaugural ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Professor G. Ranga Rao, Department of Chemistry, IIT Madras, who also delivered the opening keynote address. The event was also attended by the Dean of the School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) – Prof. S Srinivas, Convenors of CTAM-24- Dr Rajarshi Sarkar & Dr Pratheep Kumar and other organizing committee members. The speakers remarked that VIT-AP is emerging rapidly on the research front with vibrant knowledge sharing and dissemination platforms organized all-round the year.
