2-Day camp for registration of BOCW culminates at Paddar
Paddar: The 2-day camp for registration of Building and other Construction Workers (BOCW) organised by the Labour Department in convergence with the Rural Development and Health Department culminated here the other day.
The Day 2nd of the awareness camp witnessed the participation of over 300 labourers (BOCW) .
The team of Labour Department headed by Labour Officer, Fulail Singh educated the public and labourers (Building and other construction workers) hailing from the different corners of the block, about the various Schemes of JKBOCW.
The camp was unique in the sense that age certificate was issued by Medical Officer and Employment certificate was issued by Block Development Officer to the participant workers on the spot.
During the camp a total of 800 registration forms were distributed among the participants .On spot renewal of labour cards were facilitated and registration forms were filled and collected on the spot.
The public of Paddar along with the PRI members thanked the Labour Department and District Administration for the initiative to reach out the people at their doorsteps.
The next camp is going to be organised at Bounjwah (Nali Dramni Park) from 27th August to 28th August 2020, informed ALC Kishtwar.
ALC Kishtwar Anoop Kumar; Medical Officer PHC Atholi, Dr. Rakesh Kotwal; PRI members, besides the officials and field line functionaries of RDD, Health , Police , CRPF and Labour department remained present on the second day of camp.
