2-day “Kala Utsav-2021”concludes at Ramban
RAMBAN : Kala Utsav-2021- a 2-day event on promotion of different art forms among students concluded today here at Government Girls High School, Ramban.
During the Utsav young students of secondary-level exhibited their talent in Arts, Music, Theatre and Dance.
The programme was organized by the Department of Education in Coordination with District Administration.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Dhramveer Singh was the chief guest at the concluding function, while Headmaster of the host school, Amzad Hussain was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the DYSSO said that Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE) under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, to promote different arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage.
While appreciating the performances of participants, the DYSSO said that Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) is recognizing the importance of aesthetics and artistic experiences for secondary-level students, which play a major role in creating awareness of India’s rich cultural heritage and its vibrant diversity.
In his address, the Headmaster highlighted various initiatives taken by the Government for overall development of students. He extended his gratitude to the Union and UT Government for providing a platform to students especially residing in rural and far-flung areas for taking part in such cultural activities.
